She’s been playing music since she was a little kid with hopes of one day becoming a great jazz pianist. Currently working on a full length CD and keeping her cat Elvis out of trouble, Kenosha native Jill Paisted take a few minutes with Ron Kelly to talk about music, men’s nipples and the future.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
This Microdermabrasion thing on TV right now…

What is your greatest extravagance?
My car.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

How messy I am.

In others?
I don’t really have any…maybe jerks. Mean people.

Parton.

Which talent would you most like to have?
A really good jazz pianist.

Which Simpsons character do you most identify with?
Ummm…Marge.

Revenge is a dish best served _____.
I don’t really believe in revenge.

What are your favorite names?
Lily, hippy names…like my cousin Honey Bee.

Who are your biggest songwriting influences?
Joni Mitchell, Rickie Lee Jones, Steven Hawkins.

Which four celebrities would be in your ultimate celebrity car crash fantasy?
I don’t want any of them to die. Not unless they’re supposed to.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
Ummm…Oh…

Bacon or sausage?
Bacon.

Why do men have nipples?
Aaahhh….because basically women have their sex organs on the inside….I don’t know. I should just probably say “Why shouldn’t they.”

What do you consider to be your greatest achievement?
Getting into grad school.

Which living person do you most admire?
My mom.

It was such a blur. What a nightmare…Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana.

How would you like to die?
In my sleep. Like my great grandma.

Music.
