Michelle Cascio Photography and Model Casting takes new models and turns them into “agency ready” machines for both Editorial and Commercial markets. Michelle enjoys the Commercial market which allows her models to just be who they are; no worrying about fitting into a stereo-type, clothing size, or age bracket. Whoever, or whatever, you are, there is a place for you. And it’s family friendly!!!
Kenosha is a good place for local models to get started. Nestled between Chicago and Milwaukee, Michelle services both businesses who need to book talent and talent who want to get into the ‘biz’.
She holds monthly workshops, teaching the models techniques advertisers use to promote a product, i.e.: the reason they are getting paid. She gives them insight so they know why they are doing what they are doing which is to get noticed in the modeling/advertising industry.
Michelle’s next workshop, “Scene Study Checklist”, is used by actors, even in still photographs, to portray or embody the theme of an ad. Runway walking is also be covered at each workshop. Everybody does it, not just the people over 5’8”! Learning how to walk like a model builds self-confidence and seeing that other models are normal people, is a positive influence on new students. Oh and the best part . . . it’s FREE!!! So come out and learn how to be a model. It’s a great opportunity for networking.
“Scene Study Checklist” will be held on Tuesday, April 15th, at 7:00 pm at the Southwest Library at 7979 38th Ave., Kenosha (just east of 80th Street). Students are asked to bring or wear shoes that have slick - not rubber - soles so they will turn easily for practicing runway walking. Also please bring paper and pen for taking notes.

Michelle is and has been phenomenal to myself and talent, Quenshawn Williams. Who knew that a workshop in October of ‘07 would lead to two extra parts in Eagle Eye and The Unborn. Additionally Quenshawn was in his first live runway show at the Victor Hotel in Chicago and will be on the runway during Chicago Fashion Week for designer Jorge del Busto on April 23rd! CHICAGO FASHION WEEK!!!!!! This already has been unbelievable for us and we can only anticipate what is to come. If it were not for Michelle’s advice and support we would not have encountered the successes Quenshawn has already accomplished. She has certainly been a blessing and we love her! Thanks Michelle!
