Last Friday Kathy Labourn graced the Pollard with her art and her charm. Both the Pollard and the enthusiastic crowd were richer for it.
Enough said.

As an artist myself, I can tell you that this is one of those shows that photographs can do no justice. It is breathtaking, and that it’s Encaustic (a process of painting with oils and wax) is even more amazing. Kathleen is one of the best artists in this area and she is reinventing and evolving her artwork…she is one of my inspirations. Her classes are always full at Lemon Street, and I’d also like to personally thank her for being one of our founding members.
Wonderful work, Kathy! A great show by a great artist!
