Join Philip Moulthrop for a behind-the-scenes tour of the exhibition, Moulthrop Generations: Turned Wood Bowls by Ed, Philip and Matt Moulthrop with RAM Executive Director, Bruce Pepich. Organized by the ASU Art Museum, this show presents more than seventy exquisitely turned wood vessels created by three generations of woodturners who have defined this craft.
Immediately following the tour, Philip will do a book signing at 7:30 pm. The hard-covered exhibition catalogue, Moulthrop Generations: Turned Wood Bowls By Ed, Philip, and Matt Moulthrop along with hard-covered book, Moulthrop - A Legacy in Wood are both available to pre-order through RAM’s Museum Store
This tour takes place during Downtown Racine’s Free First Friday, when the streets are alive with music and fun activities, and the various galleries and shops of Racine are open late. RAM has extended hours that day, offering free admission until 9:00 pm, and also hosts a free family hands-on art project from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
