Writer, director and musician Javier C. Rivera recently completed work on the DVD companion to his children’s book, Sometimes I’m Sad. The former Kenoshan was also thrilled to receive word that the film has been accepted into the 2008 Kids First! Film Festival (www.kidsfirst.org). Javier was gracious enough to grant me another interview for Expose Kenosha; instead of presenting a conventional written piece, my questions were answered by Javier and interwoven into a trailer for the book’s DVD/film. I really enjoy the artwork and how it works with the story! I think this is a great visual for kids and adults of all ages!!!
