ArtWorks 2009 Art Show Schedule and a few words . . .

As The 2008 schedule is coming to an end, we are proud to announce our 2009 art show schedule. 2008 exceeded our wildest expectations and proved that Kenoshans will come out and support quality art and artists. Our “Monster” show was a great success, hundreds of people came out (most in costume) to attend. The annual Monster show is not only an art exhibit but it is also an opportunity for members of our arts community to showcase their talents. Thanks to Laurenzi Dance who performed tirelessly all night in order to introduce dance to a brand new audience. We hope to use Monster as a template for much more ambitious events in the near future.

In addition to the 2009 schedule we are also excited about a brand new web based project. This site is being designed to be a valuable resource for our visual arts community. Be on the look out for an official launch date.

Final submission details and a prospectus for all 4 juried 2009 shows will be available on the website shortly after the holidays.

ArtWorks supports “Second Saturday’s” and scheduled as many exhibition openings as possible to coordinate with this effort.
