How fun to see the Paper Doll at the top of Expose Kenosha today! This is from our Book Collaboration which had an exhibit in November. You can see more by clicking on the 10 x 10 Exhibit here and read Rick McCluckey’s fine article.
This particular Paper Doll was done by Pamela Smiley. Pamela Smiley teaches the Novel, Introduction to Literature and Heritage Studies. During 1994-1995, she was a visiting Fulbright professor in Seoul, Korea. She has also taught at the college level in New Zealand, at the University of Maryland-European Division and at the high school level in Australia.
Smiley has conducted extensive research in literature and composition, expository writing, creative writing and women’s studies.
She joined the Carthage faculty in 1991.
And besides…she is a clever and talented artist!
Sorry…typing too fast, Rick. That should be McCluskey! Hey, it’s Monday!!!
