CEDAR Grand Opening - June 20, 2009
Day at the Beach (10:00am– 4:00pm)

Families are encouraged to stop by the Southport beach House for the “Day at the Beach” event. This event is free and open to the public, and young and old are encouraged to join the fun! Some of the scheduled events include; a beach volleyball tournament, arts and crafts, inter-active exhibits from area environmental groups and conservation organizations. Food vendors will be on-site for purchase.

Solstice Celebration (6:00-10:00PM)
In the evening, CEDAR will host the “Solstice Celebration”. At this adults-only fundraising event there will be live music, food, a silent auction, beer and wine sampling, and more!We also welcome Peter Annin, author of The Great Lakes Water Wars as the guest speaker for the evening event (www.greatlakeswaterwars.com).
