You are invited to the premiere of “RED”.
“RED” is an independent film directed by Juan Mendez, with post production editing and music composed by Zernul Shackelford. The film features scenes of Kenosha’s lakefront, the historic Franks Diner and proudly includes Kenosha actor Brent Allen Caputo.
Brent’s powerful supporting role as Charlie Gavin will prove to be a performance worth watching time and time again. There are only about 150 seats available on a first come, first served basis at the premiere, so everyone is advised to get there early. Food and drink will be provided, and copies of the DVD will be available for $20 and the soundtrack for $5. If copies sell out, payments will be taken for new orders and more copies will be created based on those numbers.

I have seen this film at it’s initial premier in Indiana, and recommend that everyone see it. Great story line, and an excellent performance by Brent Allen Caputo.
Can’t wait to see what these guys have in store for us next!
My name is Juan A. Mendez Writer/Director of the film RED and on behalf of my associate Zernul R. Shackelford Music Composer/Editor and myself we want to extend our gratitude to ExposeKenosha for the article they put forth regarding the Chicago Premiere of our film.
The turnout was fantastic and everyone had a wonderful time. Plenty to eat and plenty of entertainment on the screen. We not only saw the film but we also saw the blooper reel which was a blast.
I also want to thank Brett Plyler who portrays the character “Pete” in the film and Beth O’Neill who portrays “Liz” for arranging and making all preparations for the premiere. They did an excellent job with both.
I also want to thank Brent Allen Caputo Kenosha’s own for doing a wonderful, creepy job as “Charlie” and for making all our contacts in Kenosha possible. You have all been great and Kenosha is a great place for the Arts. I look forward to working there again. Say hello to all the folks at Frank’s Diner for us. I look forward to another helping of the garbage plate. Thank you.
