Tune in this Sunday, January 31st from Noon-4:00 pm to cable channel 14 (Time Warner Cable) for Kenosha TV’s first FUN-Raiser, as we work to preserve your voice on local television. Kenosha TV and many other community television stations are in danger of going dark because of a State of Wisconsin law. Wisconsin 2007 Act 42 allows video service providers, Time Warner Cable and AT&T, to cease providing dedicated funds after December 31st that have helped to maintain these stations. This amount is only $0.20 per cable subscriber, per month, but it means survival to Kenosha TV.
What can twenty cents buy you these days? How about the privilege to not only share your views and interests over television but to allow many of your community’s institutions and non-profit organizations to also communicate their mission and activities?
Kenosha Community Media, Inc., which manages and operates Kenosha TV, thanks you for your interest and your support. We ask that you please call us at (262) 656-8497 this Sunday and make a pledge, if you are able to contribute. Your donation is tax-deductible.
