AHA! Kenosha – the Arts & Humanities Alliance of Kenosha – will host its quarterly networking event AHA! Moments on Wednesday, October 7th from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Civil War Museum (5400 First Avenue, Kenosha). The event is free and open to the public, although pre‐registration is required by Friday, October 2nd.
To register,
call (262) 654‐7307 ext. 11 or email dgoodwin@kenoshacvb.com.
The October 7th AHA! Moments event will feature an open‐networking period, followed by a Member Spotlight by Diana M. Iorio of Luci Toscane. The featured discussion of the evening will be “The Culture of Kenosha’s Lakefront – An Idea Exchange”, led by Kenosha Mayor, Keith Bosman. Mayor Bosman will lead an open discussion with attendees focusing on enhancing Kenosha’s many lakefront areas to be an even greater draw year‐round for residents and visitors. The Mayor hopes to glean ideas from the session to aid the City in future planning for its public spaces along Lake Michigan, including parks, neighborhoods, business districts, and
other areas. The Mayor will look for ideas and feedback about what is currently in place, what future plans are in place, what should be emphasized or de‐emphasized, and how we can add to the existing cultural appeal of the area.
The Arts and Humanities Alliance of Kenosha works to build awareness of the arts in our community. It fosters collaboration between artists, cultural organizations, educational institutions, businesses, and the public through cooperative planning and
development of activities and events. For more information or to support AHA! Kenosha’s mission by joining as a member, visit www.AHAKenosha.org.
