Kenosha Bloomin’ Days is a huge two-day event with 300 musicians, 4 stages tons of food and family activities. This will be our band’s 1st show since August 2008 with no other future dates scheduled.
This Saturday June 6th, during Bloomin’ Days, come on over to the Rhode and make your “commercial” that celebrates Kenosha Living! Gary Callahan of DC Talent will be on hand from 11-4 to talk to anyone aspiring to a professional acting career.
Actor’s Craft is located in the Rhode Center for the Arts, 518 56th Street in Kenosha, WI
Friday, June 5 and Saturday June 6 downtown Kenosha will be a-bloom AND a-BOOM with music, food and fun as it hosts its third annual Bloomin’ Days festival.
This year for the first time Rhythm in the Round’s new identity, The Drum Hut will be part of the scene. We plan to be Seen and Heard with several fun and interactive events.
Schedule for BOOMIN’ DAYS AT THE DRUM HUT:
Friday June 5, 5-6 p.m.:
Community Drum Circle at the Entertainment Area, 54th Street and Sixth Ave. Drums and percussion on hand, benches provided (yea!). Technically we will be the “opening act” for the weekend–let’s give Kenosha a big dose of the good stuff!
Saturday, June 6:
1) 11 a.m.-5 p.m.: There will be an info table for Rhythm in the Round/The Drum Hut, located on Sixth Avenue. We will hand out flyers and have show & tell instruments, but do no sales at the table.
Raw. Emotions and sound, raw and pure. Sonic blend of wild creativity, psychedelic groove and honesty. A deep musical cocoon wrapping the audience, heightening the senses..
Tim Korry is the singer/songwriter/evil genius of an independent three piece rock band. While the band may be young, the experience and heart is ages old. Tim and his bassist Timmy came up together in a burgeoning but small Milwaukee music scene; playing together in the band Rhinocerotic. Rhinocerotic had a strong and faithful following opening for acts like Green Day and Badfinger, and post shows for the Black Crowes.
Tim Korry will be performing at Kenosha Bloomin’ Days Saturday, June 6th 2009 Friendship Park Stage - 6th Ave “A” & 59th St at 5:00pm
