PAINT THE WINDOWS OF DOWNTOWN!
WHAT: Downtown windows will be fashioned after the numerous books written by our most famous resident! Help us spread the word about the tremendous positive impact this wonderful author has made during the past 50 years of her absolutely amazing life!!
WHEN: Windows need to be painted by September 19, 2009. The Celebration will be Saturday September, 26th.
WHERE: Downtown Kenosha, on Sixth Avenue.

The Art Calendar Studio Makeover Contest is FREE to enter and runs from May 1, 2009 until July 31, 2009. Three winners will be selected and announced in the October 2009 issue of Art Calendar!
Grand Prize - $8,500+ in prizes
Second Prize - $800+ in prizes
Third Prize - $400+ in prizes
All winners will also be included in an editorial feature in the November 2009 issue of Art Calendar!

The Kenosha Art Association. invites artist 18 years and over to compete in a one day art competition at the Kenosha Public Museum on April 4th from 1-4pm. There will be and art competition and reception with awards and prizes along with a presentation by Paul Hapip on “Gem Hunting in South Asia at 2pm. Grandpa/ma Tortoise - the wise old tortoise who hates Nintendo and loves doling out wisdom.
Harry/Harietta Hare - hyper bunny who almost appears to have ADD
Mayor Wolf - the not so big, not so bad wolf who decided to go into politics and standup comedy.
Reporter - looking for the “big scoop” in the middle of the woods.
Actors will be performing with full facemasks and bodysuits. These will be available for preview at auditions.
