April 6th, 2008 — EK28, Kenosha Public Museums, Kenosha Art Association
by Kate Falluca

The Kenosha Art Association held its annual Spring Art Event at the Kenosha Public Museum on Saturday, April 5th. 28 artists entered the competition and a nice crowd had the opportunity to hear the featured speaker, KAA member Dominic (Nick) Cibrario.
Nick gave a very entertaining presentation called “A Glimpse Into My World” which demonstrated how his artwork had been influenced by his trips to Europe, especially Italy. He was also strongly influenced by the Nepalese people who live in the Himalayas. Nepal is the setting for Nick’s “Garden Of Kathmandu Trilogy” (The Pomelo Tree, The Harvest and The Shamans). His forthcoming book is entitled “Secrets On The Family Farm”. For more information on Nick Cibrario, visit is website at www.pomelotree.com.
Retired Carthage College art teacher, Ed Kalke, judged this event. Thank you, Ed, on behalf of us at the Kenosha Art Association!
