About The Danglers
American Progressive Acid Rock trio consisting of electric violin, standup bass, and drums. The Danglers combine Jazz, Classical, Heavy Metal, Punk and Fusion stylings. The result being, superior musicianship and intelligent song writing often accompanied by improvisation.
The premise was simple, don’t play your part; play your instrument! When did the brilliant and spiritual notion of finding your voice on your instrument succumb to mundane songs and questionable fashion? Over 13 Years, four studio releases, two live releases, a 7″ vinyl single, and numerous digital singles and compilations, The Danglers continue to put those questions to the test.
Collectively, The Danglers‘ superior musicianship and unique song writing has earned the trio much respect. An example of such would be sharing the stage with artists such as Derrick Trucks (Allman Brothers), Tony Levin (King Crimson), Oteil Burbridge (Allman Brothers), Trey Gunn (King Crimson), That One Guy, and Andrew Bird’s Bowl of Fire to name a few.
Individually, each member of The Danglers have been plucked to tour and record as members of Violent Femmes, The Tossers, Fred Anderson, Heidi Spencer and the Rare Birds, and many more throughout the band’s history.
Truly Original, Mind Blowing, See The Danglers live!!!!

Saturday, July 18th at 9pm “The Loyal Order of the Water Buffalo” with Lucas Sode will be playing at TG’s
