Contributing Editor - Colleen Kappeler

Colleen is a freelance writer, editor and writing teacher. She has a BA in Writing from UMass Dartmouth and is pursuing an MA in Literature and Writing from The Union Institute and University. Kappeler is a nationally published writer, has edited for dozens of published authors, and has been teaching writing for over fourteen years. She lives in Kenosha with her husband and two children.

Photographer - Mike Gordon

Mike photographs under the name of Mikasi, or Mikasi Photography. For him, the proper subject of photography is the everyday human - people caught in their everyday lives, being who and what they are makes the best subjects. He likes photographing roller derby queens, mud wrestlers, and belly dancers. He hopes someday to be the Studs Terkel of American Photography. If you like his photography, you like it; if not, he won’t spend a nickel trying to prove you wrong.
